Pine Baron Pathway
What started out as an interpretive state forest trail in the late 1970's is now a popular non-motorized trail. The pathway is composed of four scenic loops ranging from 2 to 2.5 miles, all of which are interconnected and total in 9 miles when completed at once. The loops wind through a forest of hardwoods and pines, and only involve a few changes in elevation. Pine Baron is most popular in the winter when it is groomed as a single tracked trial for Nordic Skiing, however, the rest of the year it is mainly attended by mountain bikers.
